Hey there!

 

I'm Damon, and I'm a passionate videographer with an extensive background in sports and events media. I love capturing raw emotion through film, and relish the opportunity to convey a well crafted story in an edit.

 

Having worked across an array of sports at such clubs as Collingwood FC, Carlton FC, Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars in a full-time capacity in recent years, my wide ranging experience across the sporting landscape has equipped me with a breadth of knowledge, skills and versatility to capture and adapt content for a range of brands, each with differing audiences and consumers. This has seen me specialize in interview features, event coverage, promo/commercial content and it is this experience as to why sporting teams remain one of my more consistent client bases.

 

Additionally, the fact this experience can be transferred across a multitude of industries has seen me also assist clients in the corporate sector to help better elevate and market their brand.

The vodcasting/podcasting space is a booming and exciting arm of Creative Edge Films. Since founding the vodcast element of the ever-popular Dyl & Friends podcast - a now thriving and regularly ranked #1 sports podcast in Australia - I have gone on to work for the internationally renowned The Grade Cricketer podcast, Footyology and more.

The wedding arm of Creative Edge Films was born when my brother married his long-time partner. While filming a wedding was a little different to my usual work, I naturally jumped at the offer to capture their special day. And guess what? I loved it so much that I relish the opportunity to capture weddings!​
